Rules and Regulations
Leased Sites: All trailers must carry full insurance. Owner/Tenant is liable for damage sustained to property, other trailers, buildings, etc. Each Leased Site is limited to one tent or trailer and vehicle. Vehicle must be parked on own Leased Site. All Leased Sites must be kept in a neat and sanitary state. No ATV’s, unlicensed vehicles, golf carts, mopeds, electric scooters or electric skateboards are permitted in the park. Speed limit throughout the park is 5km and should be respected at all times. Parents or guardians are responsible for the behaviour, safety and well being of their children and/or guests. Any damages caused by same, will result in damage fees issued to parents or guardians. Due to restricted water supply, no washing of the trailers or vehicles in the park are permitted (with the exception of one trailer wash in early spring when the campground is not busy).
Pool: The Tenant acknowledges that there no lifeguard on duty at the pool. Pool hours are 10:00am – 8:00pm, 7 days a week from June 15th to September 5th depending on the weather. Adult (18+ years) swim hours are each day from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. No children will be permitted in the pool area during adult swim hours. No food and/or beverages are permitted inside the pool area. All person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No one person is permitted to swim alone in the pool. No running or diving or toys permitted in pool area. Additional rules are posted in the pool area and must be abided by.
Campfires: Campfires are permitted in fire pits only, campfires must never be left unattended and should be kept to a reasonable size. Current location of fire pits should remain as is. Campfires are to be put out by water before heading in for the evening. Due to regulations set by CFIA for the prevention of the spread of specific insects that damages the forest, Tenants may only bring wood grown and harvested in the Province of New Brunswick and must be approved by the Landlord in advance of.
Pets: All pets (small or large) must be on a leach no longer than ten (10) feet (or 3.5m) at all times. Pets are not permitted in the washrooms, showers, or pool areas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Owners agree not to tie pets to trees, or chains and/or ropes damage bark on the trees causing the eventual death of the tree. Pets must be kept quiet at all times and not to be a nuisance to adjacent lot tenants. Pets will need to be approved. No pets by visitors are permitted without prior approval by management. Management has banned the Pit Bull breed of dog from entering the park. As a Tenant, if you currently have this breed, Management will allow it, however moving forward the Pit Bull breed of dog or visitors with the Pit Bull breed of dog will not be permitted in the park.
Speed Limit: The campground has a max speed of 5kms/hour. If you have been identified as speeding, a first warning will be sent to you by email. If you have been identified as speeding, on a second notice (within 30 days of your first warning), you will be suspended from driving in the campground for 30 days. “If your foot is off the brake you’re speeding” Bicycles are part of speed limit rule. Please ensure you share this rule with children.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11:30pm to 8:00am. Respect your neighbours. Reasonable quietness must be maintained at all times. No music or radios at this time and must be kept low at all times. Playground must be vacated at dusk. Children must not wander around the park after dark.
Fireworks: Fireworks are not permitted on campground.
Site Improvements: Site improvements (such as wooden decks and small storage sheds, gardens, etc.) are only permitted with approval from management and are solely at the expense of the Tenant.
Upgrades: Upgrade from 30Amp to 50Amp will be a cost to the Tenant at a fee of $1,000.
Larger Leased Site: Should a Tenant require a larger Leased Site due to a larger unit (RV), a fee will be shared between the Landlord and the Tenant. Details to be discussed and confirmed prior to upgrade.
Maintenance/Lawn Care: Lawn care and maintenance will be done by campground personnel.
Alcoholic Beverages/Drugs: All alcoholic beverages/drugs that are legal in the Province of New Brunswick must remain on Leased Site and not permitted in public arears or while walking around the park. Underage drinking or drug use will be reported to the police and offenders will be banned from the park.
Lighthouse: Closes at 9:00pm. Children are allowed in the lighthouse, only when accompanied by an adult. No alcohol permitted in the lighthouse and music must be shut off by 9:00pm.
Docks: The docks and how they are installed and maintained are the responsibility of the dock owner (preapproved by Cambridge-Narrows Campground management). There will be no liability to the Landlord for any injuries or accidents sustained on or around the dock location by any Tenant and/or their guests.
Visitors: Overnight visitors must pay a $5.00 fee per guest, if using the pool. Tenants are responsible for the behaviour of their guests while visiting. Management requires all visiting guests to exit campground prior to quiet hour (11:30pm) unless they are overnight guest(s). Management defines “Family Member” as parents, brother, sister, children and/or spouses and are not considered as guest.
Weekend Lot Rental: Check out time is noon unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
The Tenant is mindful the property is privately owned (previously documented).
The Tenant accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby release the Landlord, its owners and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and/or injury to his/her person arising out of his/her use of the camping facilities and agrees to indemnify the Landlord and its employees against claims resulting from the loss or damage to property or injury to the person or any member of the family or guest of the Tenant arising out of the use of its camping facilities.
The Landlord and its employees are not responsible for damages, vandalism or theft of guests, tenants’ recreational vehicles or other personal possessions.
The Leased Site includes the following services: water, other than for drinking water, sewer services, garbage disposal at the dumpster, road maintenance to the site and other park amenities.
